Circuit Training is simply the art of linking thematic or complementary training elements into a conditioning workout.
- Stations are sequenced in a logical order based upon the desired focus of the unit (progressing through drills, alternating between upper & lower body exercises, etc.).
- The recovery or transitions are typically short and may involve another exercise (jogging, core exercise, etc.)
Construction of training circuits is only limited by one's imagination. The attachments below offer a starter set of conditioning and plyometric circuits for reference and inspiration.
